Ms. Adrian had the pleasure of assisting the Thimbleberries Kindergarten class last year, and is excited to return this year as the Lower Grades Teacher.

Ms. Adrian has a passion for education and loves working with kids. She has a beautiful way of connecting with each child and building strong relationships with them. Some of her strengths include her ability to observe and adapt to the individual child and their needs. She believes we are all unique and wants to help each child grow into their true self. She has spent many years working in with children and has training in different alternative methods as well as studied human psychology and child development in college. She enjoys reading, running, and traveling around the world with her family. Recently spending three years in Portugal and seven years traveling through Europe, Ms. Adrian brings a worldview perspective to our community.

Ms. Christie is mother to three amazing young men and grandmother to seven incredible young people. She has spent over half her life teaching in a variety of capacities from preschool to grades and eventually senior adults.

She is passionate about learning and offering “experiences” in education. She loves music, art, geology and being in nature. She strives to bring those elements into her teaching style.  

The biggest thrill for her is when she sees the light of understanding in the eyes of her students and grandchildren as they grasp some new idea or concept.  She pours her whole heart and soul into her students and nurtures them with love and compassion.
